“I Kissed a Girl” is the second single from Katy Perry’s album One of the Boys produced by Dr. Luke. Perry says it is “about the magical beauty of a woman.”[1] The song was featured in one of the episodes on the first season of Gossip Girl. It quickly became a hit as the number one song on Z100 after it was first played.[2] On June 26, the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the 1000th chart-topper of the Rock Era.
